Farrell’s Is Back, Sweeter than Ever!

For those of you who can’t remember (or weren’t born yet?) Farrell’s Ice Cream Parlour, it’s been closed for at least 20 years, now you can see what all of the hype is about. It’s making its return to OC Wednesday at Mission Viejo!
Farrell’s is an old-fashioned ice cream parlor complete with sit-down dining, and popular candies. Seating is first-come, first serve basis. As of Jan. 1, 2010 Farrell’s will debut party packages in its private room for groups of 20 to 45. Open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. 799 The Shops Blvd, at The Shops at Mission Viejo. 949.364.5411.

Sample Holiday Treats at Blackmarket Bakery

This is turning out to be a busy week, but I suggest you pencil this in. Blackmarket Bakery is having a Holiday Open House on Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m.! You can have a great time and enjoy delicious samples from its holiday menu! Chef Rachel Chef Rachel Marie Klemek and her team are baking seasonally inspired tarts, bread pudding and gingerbread, as well as the new Cabernet Wine Brownie.
